The Smiley's Award show aka The Annual Fine Arts Gala is held every year in the JMS Gymnasium. Students are welcomed for a Live Golden Carpet Pre-show with interviews and photos. The Smileys are important to our district because art students from each school are recognized and awarded for their talents. Nominees, performers, parents, community and friends are invited to attend this event each year and witness the extraordinary talent at Florence Five.
The Smiley Awards is named after former Superintendent, Randy Smiley.
The Annual FSD5 Talent Show is an opportunity for our students to get creative and showcase their talents to their teachers, families, friends and community. We have a wide range of talents: from dancing and singing to acting. It's a joy to watch our students find their talents and use them to excel. We look forward to the talent show every year.
